A download is now available for changes to Employee Maintenance and W-2 Media files for foreign employees. These changes allow for the entry of foreign address information in Employee Maintenance as well as foreign address in the W-2 media file.


Note: You must be on Release 116.03 to apply this update.

To download this update:
1.    Log into www.FamousSoftware.com.
2.    Go to the Support V6 page.
3.    Click on V6 Software Updates.
4.    Go to the Release 116 Resources page, download the UPDATESPBD, which contains SPR 15942.

Help > About.  The build number is found on the Client Information tab.

Download Important Oregon SIT Tax Table Update

                                                                                                                                 
This update includes a change to the way Oregon calculates the State Income Tax for employees earning over $50,000.

To download this update:

1.       Log into www.FamousSoftware.com.

2.       Go to the Support V6 page.

3.       Click on V6 Software Updates.

4.       Click the link appropriate to your current release:

For those on Release 115.04: From the V6 Software Updates page, download the SPR for Release 115.04 2011 Year-End Update Phase 2, Phase 3, and OR SIT.

For those on Release 116.03: From the Release 116 Resources page, download SPR 20860.

Famous Release 116.03 is now available for download. Release 116.03 includes enhancements such as PTI-style case tags, a California Payroll Labor Contractor update, and more.

For those not on a Release of 116, the 116.03 conversion includes:

Release 116.01

• PTI-style case tagging and traceability enhancements
• Filtering functions added:
  • Grower Auto Charges
  • Price List
  • Product Translation Maintenance
• Oracle Database 11g update

Release 116.02

•  2011 Year-End Payroll and 2012 Tax Table updates

Release 116.03

• Print Customer/Grower Name and Address on payroll check stubs (CA Assembly Bill 243)
• Additional 2011 Year-End Payroll and 2012 Tax Table updates
